Reusable Beeswax Food Wrap Pack

The Khala and Co. beeswax food wraps are a must-have if you are looking to reduce waste in your kitchen. The wraps are made from a cotton and hemp material with a blend of natural waxes (including beeswax), coconut oil, and natural tree resin. This combo pack comes with 4 wrap sizes including 1 extra small (6”x6”), 1 small (7”x8”), 1 medium (11”x11”), and 1 large (13”x13”). Wrap up that sandwich or snack you’ll want later or cover a bowl of leftover food and place directly in your refrigerator. Reusable Paper Towels

We love these reusable paper towels by Totally Taylored and know you will too. They are made from upcycled decorative fabric that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. The fabric on the underside of the towel is made from 70% viscose bamboo, 28% organic cotton, and 2% polyester. Use them to clean up spills or dry off your plates and cups and skip the disposable paper towels. Because these reusable towels are made from upcycled fabric, the design of the product will vary in each kit. Who doesn’t love a good surprise?

All-Purpose Home Cleaner in a Refillable Glass Bottle

This all-purpose home cleaner by Meliora is a great way to eliminate single-use cleaning spray bottles. The refillable bottle is made from glass and the sprayer is made from plastic. The bottle comes pre-loaded with a cleaning tablet in the bottle. Add warm water, let the tablet dissolve, and get to cleaning! It can be used for cleaning hard surfaces in your home including floors, walls, and countertops. The ingredients are also much more planet-friendly than your typical all-purpose cleaner so you can feel good about using it!

Packaging: Reusable glass bottle

Alternative to: All-purpose cleaner in a single-use disposable plastic container

Ingredients [+]

  • Potassium Cocoate and Sodium Cocoate: These are the chemical names of saponified (that is, ‘made into soap’) coconut oil. It’s the chemical that grabs onto both dirt and water to do the cleaning.
  • Glycerin: This substance is chemically a type of alcohol and is naturally created when the oil is converted into soap. Glycerin is known for skin-softening abilities and is an effective solvent, meaning it can dissolve substances such as stains and dirts.
  • Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: There is a small amount of coconut oil left in the soap after conversion to potassium cocoate and sodium cocoate.
  • Water: Water is used in the soapmaking process to dissolve lye and ensure the lye can reach all of the oil to fully and safely react. After saponification, the water evaporates from the soap. This takes a few days to several weeks.
